Brand Redesign
Preparation, collaboration, transition, redesign.
September 4th 2015 was a very exciting time for us at Verizon. We launched our new logo along with our newly redesigned website. Working closely with my team members prior to the transition was crucial. The two homepage marquees I designed above demonstrate the transition visually. The Back to School promotion on the left was featured in our homepage marquee prior to our transition. With this in mind I gave the devices realistic shadows to appear to be laying on a solid background. Since our new guidelines restrict the the use of lifestyle imagery I felt this was fitting. The desktop UI on the right was the leading marquee on our site during the day of our big redesign release. We wanted to give our page some exciting energy while still holding a minimalistic appearance.
